Camden is a fishing village
that caters to tourists. During the summer you will find yachts
moored at Penobscot Bay. There are sailing trips available on
windjammers, large schooners. They sail along the coastline
where you get to see wildlife and the lighthouses. Day cruises
are two hours and you can also book three day or six-day
trips.
The best view of the Maine coastline is from a
tower at Camden Hills State Road. The park has hiking
trails.
