Burlington is the largest
city in the state of Vermont. The city is located on the shores
of Lake Champlain. It is a college town with the University of
Vermont located in the city.
In the center of the city is the Church
Street Marketplace. Here you can find trendy shops and
diverse food bistros, restaurants, and take-away.

What to see:
Shelburne Museum: Located
seven miles south of Burlington, the musuem is 50 acres of
Americana. The museum was created in 1947 by Electra Webb. It
includes a reconstruction of her parent's New York City
apartment including their collection of French Impressionist
paintings. Her taste was for American inventions. The rest of
the museum is dedicated to everyday American life over the past
two centuries.

museum which is a science center and an aquarium.
Ethan Allen Homestead: Tours
of the home of Ethan Allen who led the Green Mountain Boys
against Fort Ticonderoga to establish the state of Vermont.
There are a number of festivals in the area
each year:
Discover Jazz Festival: Held
in mid-June, features well-known jazz musicians. Some
performances are free.
Vermont Mozart Festival: Held
each summer and in winter at various venues.
After Dinner:
This is a college town so there a number of
clubs with live entertainment.
